Will my electric toothbrush fit in your sanitizers?

Yes!

The Violight Countertop sanitizer works with all electric toothbrushes, including Sonicare, Oral-B, and other brands. You can insert just the heads, or the entire electric brush and handle. The unit also works with battery operated brushes like SpinBrush and other popular models.

The Violight Personal/Travel Sanitizer, iZap, and Duo work with small electric heads like those from Oral-B. These compact units won't work with large Sonicare heads.



How often do I need to replace the UV Bulb?

The Violight Countertop sanitizer has a special UV bulb that needs to be replaced every 12-18 months depending on how often you use your Violight. This ensures the maximum level of germ-eliminating power.

All of our other Violight products, including iZap and the new Zapi, use a LIFETIME bulb! These bulbs are similar to long-lasting fluorescent lights, which is why they last so long, especially since your sanitizer is only used for several minutes each day.

Where can I get new bulbs for my Violight Countertop Sanitizer?

Our special UV bulbs are conveniently available here at violight.com. Some of our web resellers and catalogs also carry our replacement bulbs. Currently our bulbs are not available at retail stores.



How do I clean my Sanitizer?

Below are some quick tips. For detailed instruction manuals on all of our products, visit the product page on this website to download a copy to your computer.

Violight ZAPI: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. To clean the interior drip cup, hold the bottom of the Zapi firmly in one hand, and with your other hand squeeze and lift the top cap up and off. If you have trouble removing the cap, use a coin to gently pry the cap off at the seam around the center of the Zapi. Remove the drip tray and use warm water and mild soap to rinse the tray clean, then re-assemble.

Violight Countertop Sanitizer: Always disconnect the AC outlet from the wall before cleaning! Use a damp cloth for the outside surfaces. The removable drip cup inside the Violight can be thoroughly washed in soapy water to remove any residue from your toothbrush. Replacement drip cups are also available here.

Violight Personal/Travel Sanitizer: Wipe the outside and inside surfaces with a damp cloth. Remove the drip tray and rinse with soapy water.

Violight Duo, Violight UV Wand, and iZap: Wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth as needed.

Violight Dental Spa: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. The interior cup and tray can be removed and thoroughly washed with warm, soapy water.



What is the difference between the Violight Personal/Travel Sanitizer and the iZap Personal Sanitizer?

The Violight Personal/Travel Sanitizer is a deluxe case with a metallic finish, a removable drip tray for enhanced cleaning, and a free Violight designer toothbrush with a suction-cup handle so it stands up on your counter.

The iZap personal Sanitizer doesn't have a removable drip tray, and includes a standard toothbrush.

They both use our germicidal UV technology to eliminate 99.9% of germs on your toothbrush.
